Hair Transplant Scar Repair

Many men and women choose to have hair transplant surgery every day. The industry terminology is called a linear transplant. This is the process of harvesting a strip of hair from the back of the head.

A strip scar is what is acknowledged in the hair loss field as the particular scar that is created within the scalp from the harvest of the transplanted hair. The results can vary from virtually undetectable to unpleasant scarring. We have worked on hundreds of scars over the last four years and can quickly remove the appearance of any scar regardless of whether you wear your hair short or long.

Scar Camouflage is taken very seriously at Evolve. Personally, even after a very successful transplant, I was forced to wear my hair long to cover up my hair transplant scars. I have met and spoken with many people who would love to camouflage their scar without the daily maintenance of sprays or concealers.

Linear Scars happen everyday all over the world. The fact is, including myself, I simply was never told the effects a bad suture job, by a bad surgeon at a large clinic would leave me scared for life in the back of my head. I solved this with 300 Beard Hair Grafts. However I was forced to wear my hair long to cover the scar.

Treatment on scars typically take three hours with FUE. Having PRP Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy with the FUE is always beneficial, please look at the PRP page for more information on this exciting technology.

Follicular Unit Hair Transplantation for Scar repair

Typically Patients who choose FUE to help with a bad hair transplant scar from FUT or linear will require 300 to 450 grafts dependent on the size of the scar. We recommend FUE to camouflage the scar.

Give us a call and let Evolve solve the scar issue in less than one day!
